Generator Disconnector switch is highly useful to quickly segregate the Generator and Generator Transformer from each other.  This isolation helps maintenance team to run diagnostics and attend Generator trouble shooting without worrying to loose significant time of de-linking the bus connections.  Quick Restoration after the fault rated rectification saves utilities humungous generation losses. The sliding movement of Male contact saves space and can be accommodated in congested spaces in machine bunkers close to the terminals. The operating mechanism is remotely controlled through SCADA or analogue controls. The  switch is designed for high continuous current up to 6000amps and very high transients up to 130kA 1sec RMS on 36KV rated voltage. We can offer higher current rating based on the customer requirements.
