These products have been specifically designed for railway electrification and are included in the wide range of COELME-EGIC disconnectors and switchers (see the relevant sections) which are however applicable also in this field.
They comply with the latest standards of the sector and have been designed in close collaboration with the customers in order to meet their specific needs.
Like all COELME-EGIC equipment, railway electrification products have been designed to ensure regular long service life and to work properly also under the most severe operating conditions (in coastal and/or industrial areas, in geothermal areas, in the presence of ice, at extreme temperatures, in seismic areas…).
It is a switch-disconnector combining the features of the SHD vertical-break disconnector with those of its vacuum interrupting chamber.
